Google’s Gemini is an AI assistant that can explain, write, summarise and brainstorm. Google lists Ghana among the places where it is available, and you can use it free with a Google account.

How to start

  • Web: go to gemini.google.com and sign in with your Google (Gmail) account.
  • Android: install the Gemini app or use it from the Google app; on many phones it can be your assistant.
  • iPhone: install the Gemini app from the App Store.

  • Understand images you upload (for example a photo of a maths question).

Limits

  • It can be wrong, especially on Ghanaian facts, prices and procedures. Check important information.
  • Free use has limits; heavy users may hit them.
  • Do not paste passwords, Ghana Card numbers or bank details.
