Starlink is billed monthly, so you need a payment method that works every month. Here is what to know in Ghana.

What payment methods are accepted?

When Starlink launched in Ghana in 2024, reports said its Ghana page let customers pay with MTN and AirtelTigo mobile money as well as cards. Options can change, so check the payment methods shown at checkout and in your Starlink account.

Paying for a new order

  1. Go to starlink.com and choose Ghana.
  2. Enter your service address and choose a plan.
  3. At checkout, choose your payment method (card or mobile money where offered).
  4. Approve the payment. For mobile money, approve the prompt on your phone with your PIN.

  • Keep your payment method funded so service is not paused.
  • Update payment details in the Starlink app under your account.

Bought the kit from a reseller?

You can buy the kit from a shop, then activate it and pay for service directly with Starlink in the app. Make sure the kit can be activated on your own account.

Beware “Starlink agents” who ask you to pay them monthly for your subscription, or who sell “cheap Starlink plans”. Pay Starlink directly.
