# MTN Midnight Bundle: cheap night data from 12am to 5am

MTN’s cheapest data is the data you use while most people are asleep. The **Midnight Bundle** works from 12am to 5am, and MTN’s help centre says it does not expire and has no limits on internet activity or apps.

## What it costs

MTN publishes Midnight Bundle prices as a rate per MB on its tariffs page. Worked out from those rates:

| GH₵2    | 4GB             |
| GH₵3    | 8.5GB           |

MTN gives GH₵3 a cheaper rate than smaller amounts, which is why GH₵3 buys more than twice as much as GH₵2 would suggest. Check the volume shown when you buy, since MTN can change its rates.

## The rules

- **Hours:** usable only between 12am and 5am every day.
- **Expiry:** none. MTN puts it in its non-expiry category, so leftover night data carries over to the next night.
- **Limits:** MTN says there is currently no cap on internet activity or apps.

## How to buy it

Look for the Midnight Bundle among the bundle options in the MyMTN app or the \*138# menu. MTN does not publish a step-by-step menu path for it, so if you cannot find it, ask MTN customer care. ## Kokrokoo: the early-morning option (5am to 8am)

If you are an early riser rather than a night owl, MTN’s **Kokrokoo** bundle works from 5am to 8am. MTN’s tariffs page lists it at GH₵1.22 for 460MB. Buy it with **\*138#**, option 3.

## Getting the most from night data

- Start phone and app updates just after midnight, with the phone charging.
- Download films, music, podcasts and course videos for the day ahead.
- Back up your photos to Google Photos or iCloud overnight.
- If you share a hotspot, schedule the laptop’s big downloads for the same window.
