Google’s **Gemini** is an AI assistant that can explain, write, summarise and brainstorm. Google lists Ghana among the places where it is available, and you can use it free with a Google account.

## How to start

- **Web:** go to **gemini.google.com** and sign in with your Google (Gmail) account.
- **Android:** install the Gemini app or use it from the Google app; on many phones it can be your assistant.
- **iPhone:** install the Gemini app from the App Store.

## Prompts that work

### For students

- “Explain photosynthesis to a JHS student with a simple example.”
- “Ask me 10 WASSCE-style questions on the French Revolution, one at a time, and mark my answers.”
- “Summarise these notes into a one-page revision sheet: \[paste\].”

### For traders and small businesses

- “Write 5 WhatsApp Status posts for my provisions shop in Kumasi announcing new stock.”
- “Help me price my kenkey business: list my likely costs and a simple profit calculation.”
- “Write a polite message reminding a customer they owe GH₵300.”

## What the free version can do

- Answer questions and explain topics.
- Write and edit text.
- Understand images you upload (for example a photo of a maths question).
- Work with Gmail, Docs and Drive if you allow it.

## Limits

- It can be wrong, especially on Ghanaian facts, prices and procedures. Check important information.
- Free use has limits; heavy users may hit them.
- Do not paste passwords, Ghana Card numbers or bank details.
