If you send lots of texts (to customers, family or for work), an SMS bundle costs much less than paying per message. Here is how to buy one.

## MTN

MTN’s steps:

1. Dial **\*138#**.
2. Select **1** to proceed to buy bundle.
3. Select **99** for More, then **7** for More.
4. Select **1** to Buy Combo Bundles.
5. Choose your preferred SMS bundle and pay.

Menus and codes change from time to time. If an option number on your phone differs from the one here, follow the option names instead.

## Telecel

Telecel lists these SMS bundles on its website, each valid for 30 days:

| Price | SMS |
| ------- | ------- |
| GH₵0.50 | 30 SMS |
| GH₵1 | 80 SMS |
| GH₵2 | 200 SMS |
| GH₵5 | 600 SMS |

Buy through Telecel’s bundle menu (\*700# or \*110#), the Telecel Play app, or the bundles page on Telecel’s website.

## Sending lots of business messages?

For hundreds of customers, consider a bulk SMS service from your network or a reputable provider, which lets you send from your business name. Make sure people agreed to receive your messages.

## Or use free messaging

If the other person has data, WhatsApp and similar apps send messages over the internet, often cheaper than SMS.
